Challenge
Create a user experience for the iPhone version of the Citytv Video iPad app in a tight timeline corresponding to the iPad app, while reworking the department’s prototype annotation format to be easier for developers to work with.
Outcome
The Citytv Universal Video app was selected as App of the Week by Apple the week it launched, made the New and Noteworthy App List, and named to the Great Canadian Apps Collection in 2011.
My Role
- Initiated the documentation improvement project.
- Worked with the IA to drive annotation requirements based on usability tests with the team’s mobile developers.
- Reviewed and consulted on the interaction design.
